Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act – Youth Program
WIOA youth funds are targeted at young people (for ages 17-24) who are both in and out-of-school, to assist them in their career and educational development. At least 75% of funds must be used for out-of-school youth. The types of services funded include training and youth development programs for young people who have left school, as well as after-school services and employment supports for young people still in school.
Do I qualify?
At ComputerMinds.Com we are often asked “what are the standards to qualify?” We have learned through experience the best answer is: The WIOA looks at each person individually and it is best to not assume your ability for qualification, but to go and fill out the paper work and let the WIOA counselors determine your eligibility.
How do I Apply?
All you have to do is go to one of the addresses below, walk up to the front desk, let them know you are there for a WIOA (or WIOA youth) orientation, and they should take it from there.
