Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

Texas state sponsored IT training programThe Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is designed to help job seekers secure the employment, education, training and support services necessary to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy. The act includes employment and training services for Adults, dislocated workers, and youth that become:

  • Unemployed
  • Under-employed
  • With special emphasis placed on our veterans

Do I qualify?

At ComputerMinds.Com we are often asked “what are the standards to qualify?” We have learned through experience the best answer is: The WIOA looks at each person individually and it is best to not assume your ability for qualification, but to go and fill out the paper work and let the WIOA counselors determine your eligibility.

How do I Apply?

All you have to do is go to one of the addresses below, walk up to the front desk, let them know you are there for a WIOA (or WIOA youth) orientation, and they should take it from there.
